Street lighting feature works completed as part of Broadmarsh redevelopment project

A series of street lighting works have been unveiled as part of the redevelopment of the disused area around the Broadmarsh car park, bus station and central library building in Nottingham City Centre.

Our team recently completed works along Sussex Street as part of a wider public realm redevelopment of the Broadmarsh Centre – Nottingham’s city-defining redevelopment which got underway in September 2020. 

The project, which is anticipated to be completed in May 2023, is being delivered in partnership with Thomas Bow Ltd on behalf of Nottingham City Council. McCann has been involved since its inception, successfully securing the supply, installation and connection of functional and architectural lighting along Colin Street and north Carrington Street back in 2020. The most recent lighting works have been completed along Sussex Street, next to the recently established Nottingham College building. The works included the installation of illuminated handrails, tram underbridge architectural lighting, tree uplights and street lighting columns.
