Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets out requirements for our suppliers and how we want to ensure their collaboration.
The Supplier Code applies to all contractors, their business and their employees that provides goods and services delivered to McCann. This includes all suppliers, subcontractors, professional service providers, consultants, intermediaries and agents.
Suppliers must ensure that the practices and principles outlined in this Supplier Code are cascaded throughout its supply chain.
McCann looks to partner with suppliers who communicate effectively, perform to our high standards, and have a shared commitment to continuously improve and work together with us to deliver the best outcomes for our customers.

As McCann has grown exponentially as a business, our supply chain has naturally grown with us. For us to continue to deliver high-quality projects, our supply chain must be fully compliant and competent in Health & Safety (H&S), Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) and Sustainability. McCann therefore implemented a new supplier pre-qualification process partnership with Alcumus SafeContractor and SafeSupplier System, to enable us to quickly onboard and vet contractors and suppliers.
Alcumus SafeContractor and SafeSupplier is a leading health and safety accreditation system designed to help businesses demonstrate their commitment to maintaining high standards of workplace safety. It simplifies the process of proving health and safety compliance, with a thorough assessment process which covers various aspects, including policies and procedures, risk assessments, training records, PPE, reporting and compliance. The scheme is part of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP), UKAS and automatically certifies you to PAS91 standards.

The McCann Carbon Hub is your one-stop destination for all things related to our journey to net zero. This platform is designed to encourage collaboration, innovation and transparency within our team and supply chain. Open to our suppliers, as well as our internal team, this is an area to share low-carbon solutions or case studies where the implementation of carbon-saving initiatives has been successful.
Supply Chain Sustainability School
McCann is a proud partner of Supply Chain Sustainability School, an industry-led organisation for driving the improvement of sustainability knowledge and skills throughout the built environment sector.
The school is a collaboration between clients, contractors and suppliers who have a mutual interest in building the skills of their supply chain. The school provides a great source of knowledge, expertise, training resources and networking to upskill our internal teams and our supply chain.
