McCann secures works as part of Procure Partnerships North West Contractor Framework
McCann has been named as one of the successful contractors to secure works as part of the North West Contractor Framework – coordinated by Procure Partnerships.
Operating nationwide, Procure Partnerships has delivered successful construction frameworks across the North West of England for the past four years, supporting the procurement and delivery of over 150 projects during that time.
The North West Contractor Framework was due for renewal in 2022 and following the receipt of 103 LOT bids, Procure Partnerships has announced the names of the successful contractors to take the framework forward over the next four years – including McCann.
Procure Partnerships define the framework as “pushing the boundaries of how procurement can support public sector bodies to deliver their strategic targets.”
The framework was established to support public sector bodies across England and Wales, potential framework users include, but are not limited to, schools and academies, colleges and universities, government departments, emergency services, NHS bodies, local authorities, leisure providers, housing associations, health and social care bodies and registered charities.
Works are divided across contractor and infrastructure frameworks, with regional value banded lots covering design and build, and build-only projects.
McCann has been named as one of eight “North West £500k to £5m Contractor Partners” alongside contractors including Galliford Try, A E Yates Group, Bethell Civils and Utilities and CR Reynolds, with works due to commence in April 2022.
Our Managing Director, John McCann, is delighted to see the business named on the framework and views it as a vital way for the North West of England to continue to improve its infrastructure to meet the needs of the local economy.
“Levelling up across the whole country is vital to our economy’s long-term stability and growth prospects,” explains John.
“The North West of England has enormous untapped potential, and this framework will deliver real benefits and make a significant difference to businesses and communities through new and innovative infrastructure solutions. I’m delighted that McCann has been chosen to support its delivery and help to shape a key part of the country’s construction landscape.”
Discussing the awarding of the framework, Faye Dolan, National Framework Manager, commented: “Procure Partnerships are delighted to have concluded the renewal of the North West Contractor Framework after an exceptionally successful first iteration. We look forward to engaging with our contracting partners, old and new, whilst continuing to support brilliant public sector projects – Congratulations to all contractors who have secured a place!”
