We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our HSEQ Team, acting as a HSEQ Advisor on the strategic road network for National Highways in Area 12 in Yorkshire and surrounding area contracts.

- Nebosh Construction Qualification
- Excellent communication skills as this role will have interaction with managers, employees, suppliers, and clients
- Well-developed investigation and auditing skills
- Excellent IT Skills

Role and responsibilities;
What your role will include:
- Knowledge and practical implementation of Health and Safety legislation
- Monitor and Ensure company compliance with internal management systems
- Site based role in Yorkshire, that includes occasional night working on the strategic road network
- Conduct Internal HSEQ audits
- Reporting findings to the HSEQ manager, site managers and Clients
- Communicate across the company from site operatives to directors
- Champion safety and engage with workforce representatives
- Conduct incident investigations and report findings
- Develop and submit site-specific safe systems of work documentation e.g: RAMS, Construction Phase Health and Safety plans, CoSHH to client for review and approval
- Be client facing and represent the Company in HSEQ matters where required
- Working with site teams to ensure health and safety compliance when acting as Principal Contractor and Subcontractor.

As a Cable Jointer Mate, you’ll work assisting skilled professionals in connecting low-voltage connections to DNO/IDNO networks associated with unmetered supplies, generally in the public highway or utilities environment. Essential criteria;
Who we are looking for:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Jointer’s Mate in the utilities sector. Proven experience in cable jointing on distribution networks for unmetered supplies.
- Qualifications: Basic Health and Safety (ECS HE version H&S test), training in underground service safety.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to solve technical issues that arise on site in order to ensure productivity remains high.
- Physical Fitness: Physically fit to handle demanding work, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
