Future Developments

The Carlisle Northern Development Route will when completed ease congestion and improve journey times in Carlisle by taking commercial and other through-traffic out of the city.  It is anticipated it will also improve the local economy and attract up to 5,500 new jobs to the area by improving transport links between West Cumbria, Scotland and the North East.  We are delighted to be part of this exciting project having responsibility to main contractor Birse Civil Engineering Ltd for the provision and installation of the Street Lighting and Signing elements of the project.  Our works with a value approaching £1M will commence shortly and be completed over the next 18 months.
