Strategic Highways Director appointed to strengthen our long-term growth
We’re delighted to announce the appointment of new Strategic Highways Director Clive Leadbetter to our managerial team, as we kickstart 2021 by embarking on an ambitious three year growth plan.
The role of Strategic Highways Director has been created to promote our capabilities to clients including Highways England and local authority partners, as well as potential new partners within the industry.
Clive joins the firm with a strong background in civil engineering after over 20 years with UK-based infrastructure solutions provider Costain, as well as a successful spell as the Managing Director of integrated highways services provider, A-one+. He also brings a wealth of experience working within both the energy and utilities sectors.
As a company, we’re targeting significant growth over the next three years, with the aim of expanding the business by £60m – £150m in that time by harnessing our specialist skill sets to win more major infrastructure projects across the UK. This includes contracts across Highways England’s frameworks, multi-utility projects and other significant civil and electrical engineering contracts where McCann can be named as principal or tier 2 contractor.
Clive is delighted to have joined us at what is an exciting time in the firm’s history and sees plenty of scope for strategic long-term growth thanks to the company’s reputation for safe, high quality service delivery.
