Further growth and opportunities on the horizon with the appointment of new Bid Coordinator Roxana Heidari
We have built upon our impressive growth in 2016, with the appointment of Roxana Heidari in the newly-formed role of Bid Co-ordinator.
With a degree in Business Studies from Leeds Metropolitan University, 29-year-old Roxana from Nottingham joins us from The Stroke Association, where she had the position of Tender Writer. Within this role, she helped to develop the business through the preparation and submission of bid proposals to local authorities and Clinical Commissioning Groups.
During her time with the Stroke Association, Roxana worked closely with the Tendering and Bid Manager to provide professional bid writing support, liaising with various regions and departments, while taking the lead in the production of written proposals and drafting tender submissions for Life After Stroke services. Roxana will be reporting directly to our MD, John McCann, in her new role for the civil and electrical engineering company.
“As part of my new role, I’ll be formatting and completing strategic documents including PQQs and bids,” says Roxana. “I will also be required to collate evidence to support bids, undertake e-procurement activities, upload tender queries and clarifications on e-portals, and manage project execution plans – all familiar territory for me, and I’m looking forward to working for such a well-respected firm.”
“Bids and tenders form a significant part of the work we do on a day-to-day basis in order to secure new work within the industry” adds John McCann. “Roxana’s skills and expertise will go a long way in helping the business secure new contracts – particularly with Local Authorities across the UK – in order to build on the significant growth we have achieved in 2016”.
