McCann confirmed as an Associate Member of The Local Council Roads Innovation Group
We’re delighted to announce that McCann has been welcomed as an Associate Member of The Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG), a body designed to generate new ideas within the highways sector.
LCRIG’s mission is to “facilitate fresh thinking in innovation and collaboration and to act as a conduit between the ‘highways community’ consisting of politicians, councils, council groups, the supply chain (including utilities), associations, academia, key organisations and the media.”
The Group also partners with the Department for Transport, as well as the wider highways community, to create positive change through innovative ideas and techniques with the purpose of making practices and processes more efficient, generating savings on project delivery and creating a highways network that is safe, reliable and secure for road users.
Members of the LCRIG can access bespoke CPD presentations and technical training days, member meetings, round table discussions, networking and virtual support opportunities. Each member also receives a unique profile containing contact details, job opportunities and latest news.
As an Associate Member, McCann will be involved in quarterly member newsletters, Department for Transport webinars, access to the LCRIG Technical Advisory Panel, LCRIG events and services, as well as invitations to quarterly briefings across virtual and in-person events.
